With the increasing popularity of the Ford Big Block Engines, 429-460, we have added a much needed Starter Index/Block Plate. The PA26446 Big Block Ford Block Plate fits all 429-460 engines with any automatic transmission. The PA26446 allows you to use your existing starter, insures proper starter alignment and proper torque converter spacing. Another feature our Block Plate has is its removable inspection cover!
This PA26446 Block Plate is constructed from high quality steel and laser cut to factory OEM specs. The PA26446 comes complete, Block Plate, Inspection Cover and Inspection Cover Hardware, all included. This part is a must have for any Ford 420-460 Engine to automatic trans combination to make sure you eliminate starter and torque converter spacing issues.
